This gentle stroll around Sunapee Harbor includes natural and historic features


Take I-89 south to Exit 12A. Make a right onto Springfield Road and proceed approximately 3/4 of a mile to the intersection of Route 11. Turn right again and proceed along Route 11 for 3.5 miles. Take a left at the sign and yellow flashing light into Sunapee Harbor. Park near one of the public parks on either side of Main Street.

Update to this Quest

A new ending is included in Best of Valley Quest: At the stop take a turn east. Cross over the river and, last, but not least, South, follow the water’s edge on the River Walk. Up toward the street and parking lot Back to the start, the House on the hill, Now full of water science and history still, Climb the long drive that leads to the rear, You’re almost through, the reward is near. You’ll see the glistening harbor Standing just near the door, Out side LSPA find the prize you seek, North, South, East, West ‘neath the goose take a peak!
