The Upper Valley Climate Change Leadership Academy (2CLA), established in 2019, brings together aspiring community leaders from throughout the Upper Valley to support one another in taking meaningful local action to address climate change. 2CLA is a program of the Upper Valley Adaptation Workgroup and Vital Communities.
Each year, 25 Upper Valley residents are selected to participate in our annual Academy. Graduates of 2CLA can be found leading efforts to address climate change in communities across our region. 2CLA participants:
- Learn how climate change is affecting our communities and what can be done about it.
- Participate in presentations, group discussions, and collaborative work sessions.
- Design and launch projects to address climate change in their own communities.
- Graduate ready to make a difference and inspire others to take action.
