Business Loan Program of the Vermont Community Loan Fund

The maximum loan amount is $350,000 with an average interest rate of 8.25%. Collateral is required and terms range from several months to 20 years. Funds can be used for: real estate mortgages, fixed-asset financing, permanent working capital, lines of credit, purchase order financing, restructured debt, or subordinated debt. *Vermont Community Loan Fund recommends that you reach out before submitting an application. They have a Business Resource Center where their staff can advise you through every step from the inquiry stage through the life of the loan. What do I need to qualify? Eligible businesses must 1) support sustainable local economies, 2) conserve or expand economically viable uses of Vermont’s working landscape and/or natural resources, AND 3) increase economic opportunities for low-income, disenfranchised or underemployed Vermonters through the creation of livable-wage jobs and quality workplaces What are the associated costs? There is an application fee of $60, with an origination fee of 1% of the total loan amount and a loan documentation fee of $215 due at closing. Contact Lending Team at admin@vclf.org
