Website: https://www.investinvermont.org/borrowers/community-facilities.html Organization/Hosted by: Vermont Community Loan Fund https://www.investinvermont.org/ Vermont Community Loan Fund’s Communities Facilities Loan Program is designed to support organizations that provide essential services to Vermont residents including rural health centers, youth/family organizations, recreational centers, elder care facilities, arts facilities, preservation organizations, and historical societies & other cultural organizations. The maximum loan amount is $2,000,000 with interest rates starting at 6.5%. Collateral is required and terms range from several months to 5 years with extensions generally permitted for an additional 3-5 years. Funds can be used for: real estate acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, bridge financing, and equipment purchases. *Vermont Community Loan Fund recommends that you reach out to consult with their lending team before submitting an application. What do I need to qualify? Vermont organizations must 1) provide vital community services, 2) benefit Vermont residents with low and moderate incomes, AND 3) be unable to obtain credit at reasonable rates and terms. What are the associated costs? There is an application fee of 0.5% of the total loan amount or $350 (whichever is greater) and an origination fee of 1% of the total loan amount due at closing.
