The Bethel Energy Committee is hosting a National Drive Electric Week celebration! Dozens of local electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts will gather to celebrate and learn more about the clean-air benefits and cost-savings of electric cars.
There will be an opportunity to see Electric Vehicles up-close and speak with their owners regarding performance and challenges. An EV Home Charger will be on display courtesy of Green Mountain Power. Representatives from GMP, Cody Chevrolet, and Ted Green Ford will be available for one on one (socially distanced) discussions.
This event is one of four celebrations in Vermont, and one of 211 events around the world registered for the eleventh annual National Drive Electric Week during Sept 25 – Oct 3. It is hosted by the Bethel Energy Committee and space is provided by the Bethel Forward Festival. Plug In America, the Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association are national organizers.
