The Housing Breakfast brings together employers, developers, advocacy groups, elected officials and others to share their perspectives and discuss ongoing and proposed measures to address the issue. Co-hosted by Vital Communities and Twin Pines Housing. Registration is closed; however if you are still interested in attending please email leona@vitalcommunities.org. About the Housing Breakfast
This semi-annual gathering offers those who care about housing to share ideas and hear about solutions. This is the first time the Breakfast has been held in person since the start of the pandemic. We’ve got some catching up to do!
Schedule:
7 am: Check-In begins
7:15 am: A full breakfast buffet is offered.
8-9 am: Presentations from 8-9 am from housing leaders representing employers, developers, and advocacy groups, moderated by Clay Adams, President and CEO of Mascoma Bank:
– Dave Duncan, Vice President of Facilities Management and Carolyn Isabelle, Director of Workforce Development & Planning at Dartmouth Health, will be covering the employer perspective on housing in the Upper Valley region.
– Ken Braverman, President and Owner at The Braverman Company, will be speaking from the developer’s perspective on the housing crisis.
– Elissa Margolin, Director of Housing Action NH and Chad Simmons, Policy and Engagement Specialist at Vermont Housing Finance Agency, will give a legislative update for each state.
– Deb Flannery, Vice President of Lending at Evernorth, will provide updates on the Upper Valley Housing Fund.
