Vermont Works for Women (VWW) is kicking off the LUNAFEST® 2023 season, a film festival of award-winning short films by and about women, in the Upper Valley! Join us for an in-person screening at The Briggs Opera House on 5 South Main Street in White River Junction, VT on Friday, March 10, 2023. Come to a reception at Junction Arts & Media at 5:30 pm for food, beverages, and conversation, and enjoy the films starting at 7 pm. Tickets are $15 for the films and $25 for the screening + reception.

All proceeds benefit VWW’s mission to promote economic justice and advance gender equity. These include Trailblazers, which VWW will offer this fall at the Hartford Area Career & Tech Center. Trailblazers is a free seven-week trades training program preparing women and gender-expansive individuals ages 16+ for careers in construction and renewable energy skills. Throughout the program, participants get hands-on experience through field trips, community build projects, and a three-week paid onsite work experience with a local employer.
