Webinar: Additional Shared Equity Tools: Adding Shared Equity Elements to Standard Ownership and Rental
Additional Shared Equity Tools: Adding Shared Equity Elements to Standard Ownership and Rental. The previous webinars looked at models where ownership of a property is shared between different parties. There are also tools that can keep property affordable for new purchasers or help a tenant build equity, while the property still remains largely in traditional ownership. We will take a look at equity building lease provisions, resale limiting deed restrictions, and conservation easements, and potential scenarios in which these tools might be applicable.
This Webinar is the fourth and final of the Expanding Ownership: Shared Ownership Models to Increase Access to Housing and Farmland series.
This webinar will be hosted by Erika Hoffman-Kiess of Green Mountain Economic Development Corporation and will feature guest speakers:
-
Beth Boepple, a environmental and land use lawyer working with clients throughout New England, including creative land use arrangements for agricultural clients
