Overview
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) is a rebate program through NHSaves that repays homeowners for 75% of weatherization or energy-efficiency project cost, up to $8,000. For homes with high energy bills or homes that have trouble staying warm in the winter and cool in the summer, HPwES makes whole-house solutions like insulation and air-sealing more affordable. The work is done by an NHSaves participating contractor so you know you are getting high-quality, effective work.
Who Can Enroll:
To see if you qualify for the Home Performance with Energy Star program, you can test your home using the NHSaves online calculator by clicking the button below. To fill out the form you’ll need to know your heating usage for the past 12 months, the square footage of your home that you heat in the winter (or the “conditioned” square footage of your home), know the type of fuel and the utility provider you use.
If your home qualifies, you’ll get a pop-up with a button asking you to complete the Enrollment Form and you’ll start the application process!
