The cool weather is starting to settle in and for the most part, the Sharon gardens are put to bed, except for our exceptionally large Gilfeather Turnips! Students are harvesting them and planning on make a delicious soup for everyone to eat during lunch! We have set up our taste test schedule this year and we’re excited to try out some new recipes. Our ever expanding pallets are sure to be pleased by these selections.
The Sharon Sprouts Farmer’s Markets are back in action this Saturday, November 15th with the annual craft fair. From 9:00am until 2:00pm. Vendors will be offering local meats, veggies, crafts, jewelry and much more! A local lunch will also be served. – Keenan Haley, Sharon Elementary School, Sharon, VT
