Description

This Quest takes you up to Daniel Cady’s Mausoleum in Brownsville, VT. Daniel Cady was a VT born poet and dedicated much of his work to poems that described life in Vermont. In preparation for his passing, he had a small mausoleum made at the top of a hill where his body would rest inside.

Directions

To get there:

This Quest begins at the Albert Bridge School in Brownsville, VT. From Hartland, follow the Brownsville-Hartland Rd for nine miles. The school will be on your left just before the junction with 44. Coming from Windsor, take 44 for six miles to Brownsville, then turn right on Brownsville-Hartland Rd and the school will be on your right. The Quest begins in the parking lot.
