NOTE: Per the VT Agengy of Transportation, the Rockingham bridge will be fully closed beginning Monday, July 28, 2025. This closure is scheduled to last for approximately 28 days.
Directions
Take I-91 to Exit 6. Then go north on Route 5. After crossing the bridge over the Williams River, turn right onto Herricks Cove Road. Follow the road to the end and park in the lot before the yellow gate (the boat launch will be to your left).IMPORTANT ROUTE DETOUR: The Rockingham Bridge on Route 5 is CLOSED until the Fall of 2025 (specific date not yet determined by the VT Agency of Transportation). Regional Detour Route: US Route 5, to Interstate 91 (between exits 6 and 7), back to US Route 5.
