I had the pleasure of visiting Marjie Bish and her group of dedicated volunteers in their school garden at Hanover Street School in Lebanon, NH. This is their first year growing in their beautiful raised beds in the school’s courtyard. Every class had planted a crop in the spring, and they all seemed to be flourishing. This fall they plan to install brackets and add covers to some of the long beds for growing some cool weather crops like kale, lettuce, and peas. – Beth Roy – UVFTS
