Andra Daunhauer

Beginning in 2022, Andra serves as the interim project manager of the Early Care and Education Initiative. She assists local businesses, families, early care and education professionals, and many other partners in establishing sustainable access to high-quality affordable childcare for the communities of the Upper Valley. Andra supports the wellbeing of children and families in their communities by using evidence-based approaches, promoting natural systems processes in systems of care, and fostering reflective practice among direct service providers and organizational leaders. After spending 15 years in the Upper Valley area, she now lives further down the river in Greenfield, MA, biking, hiking, cooking, and crafting with the loves of her life: her partner, daughter, and a variety of fancy pet rats. “My work gives me the gift of witnessing and nourishing children’s, parents’, and communities’ engagement in the complexities of developing interdependently.”
