Erica Hiller

Erica joined Vital Communities in July of 2022 as a Project Manager focused on Climate, Agriculture, Energy, and the Local Economy. Erica has a background in international development, gender equity, food security, and health access and health system strengthening. Before moving to the Upper Valley, Erica lived in Portland, OR where she served on a research committee focused on earthquake preparedness and community resilience planning. She lives in Hanover where she enjoys paddling, swimming, hiking, and cross-country skiing with her family. She has a passion for language learning and for cooking (and eating!) spicy food. “I thrive in environments of collaborative problem solving and am excited to work with communities across the Upper Valley as we work to find inclusive solutions to many of the complex challenges facing our region today.”
