In August 2022, Joanne joined Vital Communities as a consultant for the Early Childhood Education Initiative. She is currently the Superintendent of Schools for the Lebanon School District. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of 360 staff members, an annual budget of $45 million, implementation of the Lebanon School Board vision and three-year strategic plan, management of $16 million for renovation projects, regular communication with staff, families, community members, and other stakeholders, developing partnerships with local agencies and businesses, and the day-to-day management of educational programs, budget, and facilities. “We know that early childhood experiences greatly impact a child’s social, emotional, and academic growth which leads to a child’s ability to be successful in school.
