Ryan Scelza

Ryan joined the board in June 2024. Having held multiple leadership roles across various industries, he has maintained responsibility for effective financial management, budgeting, reporting, and operational support while also providing general project management for various strategic initiatives. He has volunteered with many local organizations and has served on a number of committees for the town of Hartford. He is also a proud graduate of Vital Communities’ Leadership Upper Valley program. He enjoys staying active through running, kayaking, hiking, and anything he can do outside with his wife and dogs. Regarding his interest in joining the Board, Ryan shared: “I simply wanted to find good people doing impactful work, and that’s exactly what being a member of the Vital Communities Board offers. I am thrilled that there is diverse representation on the Board from people with different perspectives and backgrounds, and I am proud to be able to represent the local community. My family has deep ties to this area (I am the fourth generation), and I am excited to get to have a hand in helping to support impactful programs for the entire region.
