Many years in the making, the Upper Valley now has a bus route between Claremont and Lebanon, run by Sullivan County Transportation (part of Southwestern Community Services)!
Since it’s a brand new service, these next few weeks are a “soft opening” as the transit company works out any issues. That means the bus is free right now and the preliminary schedule doesn’t have final times yet; times could fluctuate a couple of minutes throughout the day.
Sullivan County Transportation director Teri Palmer says, “These next couple of weeks will give a general idea of when and where we are stopping. Riders can connect with Advance Transit fare-free at any of the three Lebanon stops. Sullivan County Transportation can assist riders with connecting to AT if they need us too. We also have a schedule for Dartmouth Coach to assist with those connections.”
Get on the bus, try it out, and provide feedback to Teri Palmer by phone at 603-542-9609, or by email at tpalmer@scshelps.org.
